I'm not going to talk about these lights except to say there great, the app is great and their priced right. Just buy them, I have in use Govee lights on my patio, and I can say Asahom are as good or better but much more reasonably priced. That's it for sales talk. I want to talk about the installation so you can learn a few things before you start the install. First, plan your installation carefully and download the app. After you test the stings and everything works, decide if you're going to use the T splitter, if so, you need to add it to your sting lights within the app, if not it won't work. The app will find it and active the splitter. You do this as well for the initial activation of the lights. Once you power on the lights, the app will find your lights and show you a model number, select it and the app will finish up. From there your now able to control the lights, create zones etc. Planning is essential, this kit has a dual power module which really makes installation easier. You can start in the middle of your home and work in multiple directions. So, identify a power source and decide if the install will be one continuous run or if you use the dual power and go two directions. The kit doesn't include a Y splitter so if you have multiple jumps to different levels, you may consider buying the separate Y Spitter for that purpose. The kit has great options for extension cords to help make those jumps or turns and then continue on with lights. Regarding the actual installation, I cleaned the surface of my soffits with a rag, just wiping the dust and spider webs away, but making sure the surface was dry. In my install, my side was a pitched roof line, so I started at the highest point, Removed the red adhesive plastic and using the included ruler place the first light at the highest point in the run then worked back toward the power source and made the connection to the next string to continue on. If you start at the peak and get that first light centered in the peak your lighting effect will be perfect on both sides as you continue the install. I used a drill with a 1/16" bit to drill a hole int he soffit PVC and added a screw to each light module to insure it won't ever fall down. I recommend taking this extra time to do this step. The sticky glue pad may be sufficient but for an extra minute of work, you gain the peace of mind that your light modules will stay in place for the long term. After you get the first string up, plug it into the power source and turn it on. Your lights are on and now each string you attach will also power on. It helps to know that your connections are solid, and you don't need to backtrack troubleshooting. You have different lengths string modules in your kit. Plan where to use the long one's vs the shorter strings. If you're coming to jump, a shorter string of lights with an extension cord will make that easier and you won't have an odd LED light in a place it doesn't belong. Again, plan ahead to make sure you utilize the various lengths of string lights and extension cords in the right places. Remember you can cut a string of light and modify its length for a particular need. Just make sure the power to that string is off before you make the cut. Splicing is straight forward; the wires are color coded to ensure correct continuity and use the waterproof splice module and wire connectors that come with your light kit. Have fun with your new lights now that installation challenges are highlighted. Watch a few installation videos on YouTube. Unless you're afraid of working from a ladder the installation is fairly easy, and most folks can do it. Final tip, I made myself a drawing of my home and what light string, T splitter and extension cables goes where. It was helpful even though during the installation I made some adjustments along the way.

As someone who dreads holiday decoration I look for every possible reason to not get on the roof every year. I took a chance with this and Im simply floored at how well put together the set(s) are. It took some digging to figure out that these are not single strands, rather a combination of different lengths to allow you to customize the setup to your roof. I put up nearly 250ft in about 7hrs and am blown away with the results. The app is great and allows me to control multiple sets grouped together. I now have a way to decorate my house for virtually any holiday from the comfort of my couch, and it looks better than my neighbors house who no doubt spent 6x as much for a "professional" installation.Only cons are: There's only one screw hole on one side of the light, so when you mount it the pressure of the screw pushes the opposite side out slightly. Im also nervous about the plastic becoming brittle over the years and not having another mounting option because double stick tape wont work. The screws are also barely acceptable for this job, the Philips head is way too small and prone to stripping at the slightest angle. If you're putting these into wood, pro tip is to use a scratch awl to put a divot in before screwing in. They did send quite a bit of screws though, which is nice

These are the ones. I have included a photo from the installation book that will show you what every box includes. (107C is the 150ft box). Knowing this was super important and helped us to plan how to hang the lights. This box has MULTIPLE lengths of lights (5m, 2.5m and .42m) which is crucial if you have different levels you're working on. Also, it comes with extension cords which are also super important. As you can see there are various lengths of extension cords AND you can buy more separately through Amazon (just go to the ASAHOM storefront). You can easily cut the ends of the cords if there are too many left at the end of your run and they include all the necessary caps. While it was time consuming, it was easy to install by just sticking them on and then putting in one screw to hold it. There are also wire clips if you need to secure a wire.The app has plenty of pre made programs for it too which is nice. You can also get really techy and make one yourself. There are timers to turn on and off at certain times. My favorite thing is that you can go into the app and turn on only certain lights. This is awesome because we have turned on only corner lights and lights at the peak of a roof to use as downlighting on the house when it's not a holiday. We looked at SO MANY options, but this was definitely the nest one and more than half of the cost of the goovy ones which we also considered.

I spent 2 weeks reading reviews and watching videos Before I bought these lights. I have been working with LED's for a few years. I have used many programs and many controllers. I have used govee many times when govee first came out they are a good led product but the prices became a little crazy I'm a blue collar construction worker and govee prices became a little to much for me. WLED with an esp32 is by far my favorite. I purchased the Asahom white 100' non wled version wish I ordered the wled controller but there is still time. The package came early. Everything was packed perfectly, some reviews said they are not very well packed so maybe that has changed because now it is perfect. Everything you need and more is included in the box just wish they would consider throwing in a t splitter or 2. There were 6 strings with 3 prong pigtails ends with screw end caps at the end of each string. There are end caps and junction boxes in case there is a need for cutting and splicing all have waterproof jell to keep everything dry once sealed. The 3m tape on the lights and cable clips is very strong some of the strongest I have used on led lights. Installation was very straightforward and easy. The colors are on the money and very bright. They are very well made. The Asahom app you download is VERY easy to use so far not glitchy like with most led apps. The range from phone to controller is very good and no lag the response is instant. And a BIG plus over other outdoor permanent lights is that every part of these is replaceable without having to buy another whole set of light just by going to their Amazon store. I don't know what else I can say. And for those people that aren't sure if they should buy I'm telling you BUY you won't be disappointed. I will be ordering the pro sets with wled controller next to finish off my house and my neighbors. I will update after the holidays and let everyone know how everything is holding up.

We’ve had our lights for just under a year and are very happy with them. The app itself leaves a little to be desired but the product was very thoughtfully designed with the various lengths of light strings, extension cords, splice kits, etc.Recently we have had 2 issues arise and the support team was very responsive in solving our issue and providing replacement parts at no charge with no questions asked. Couldn’t be happier with them!!

These lights exceeded my expectations. I'd gone with a cheaper brand on my house originally and they failed within 3 months. I researched for some better quality lights and came across these. I bought them and I could tell the quality difference right away. The app is easy to use and program and there's plenty of presets for lighting displays. We mainly use these for security as we live in the country and have a lot of wild animals and snakes. They put off very good light where you can walk around the house without a flashlight. I included a video of the 4th of July setting on America's 250. Highly recommend.

Very impressed with how well these are made and how thoughtfully they are designed. Yes there's a difference. These kinds of lights are not all the same. My neighbor ordered a well known brand, and they were inferior in design making installation a pain.

Best investment for the aesthetics of the home. Beats having to put up lights for every season. Wife had been asking me to purchase and put up permanent lights. I had purchased a different brand at the start of the year but I had to rerunning them when they were unworkable, little accessories available to install. The cutting process was complicated and when I reached out to product support was told there was little to assist with my issues.The ASAHOM lighting kit came with more than I expected. It has all the connectors, extensions, splitters, cutting connectors and housing to protect them from weather. When I ordered the kit they were back logged and had to wait a little longer than expected but it was well worth it. My neighbor assisted me in installing them, and he loved the final results and the ease of installation so much that he ended up ordering a kit for his home.

I purchased these ASAHOM AI Permanent Outdoor Lights for Christmas 2025, and they looked amazing during the holiday season. Unfortunately, they stopped working sometime after February. I contacted the company, explained the issue, and submitted a 30-second video showing the problem.Their customer service was excellent. Within three days, they sent me a replacement part at no charge since the lights were still under warranty. When that part didn't resolve the issue, I notified them, and they quickly troubleshot the problem further and sent another replacement part. That second part fixed the issue completely, again at no extra cost.My lights are now back up and running, and they look fantastic. The app offers a wide variety of colors, patterns, and features, making it easy to customize the lighting for holidays, special occasions, or everyday use. While it's never ideal to have a problem, the company's responsiveness and commitment to honoring their warranty really impressed me.Overall, I'm very satisfied with both the product and the customer service. The lights look great, have plenty of features, and the company stood behind their product when I needed support. Highly recommended!

These outdoor permanent lights are amazing! They also work with (Alexa). They have a lot of presets for different holidays.They also have a lot of presets that go with different moods or colors. I have had them up for about one year and they still look as amazing as they did year one, so happy I don't have to get back on the ladder to change lights every holiday.

Great product and better customer service, they are willing to help you on any issue you may have. They support on setting up and quickly replace a couple mal functions parts. 100% Recommend

We had these lights installed about 6 months ago. The App was very confusing and not user friendly. There were no directions in the manual on operating the lights.About a month ago, they updated the App, and it actually made things worse.I emailed the company asking for assistance, and this was a game changer! The customer service rep sent me step by step instructions on how to reset the App. I’m not a tech person, but I was able to figure it out.Within the week, the customer service rep emailed me to make sure I was able to get my lights working again.I now have beautiful lights that are colorful and bright! They also come on & off with a timer, which was a function that didn’t work with the previous App.There is a lot of versatile settings, so I can adjust according to special events and holidays.

These lights are amazing!! I bought these to replace another set of permanent outdoor lights that lasted about 4 months. I went cheap and paid the price. Spending a little more on a quality set of lights like this was well worth it!! It was like going from basic transportation to a luxury car!The lights were well packaged and instructions were simple enough. Always perform a test to make sure they work and these did right out of the box. Installation was easy enough as well, but may take time depending on your house setup. The adhesive backing seems very strong and has a screw tab for extra security. The physical control box has basic controls, but the app is where the fun begins.There are so many customizations to do with this light set. Way more than my previous set had that I had wanted in the first place. It has so many color variations and presets that are very cool. The lights are also very bright. I only have them set at around 65% brightness and they light up the house very well. The light effects are very fun to play with and have many to choose from. Another neat feature is the AI ability to create basically whatever you want. I am a New York Knicks fan and asked it to make a light display in Knicks colors and it created a cool display with their colors. I was impressed and made it fun for the playoffs!! There is also room to expand. I got only 100 feet but can go up to 800 feet. I will probably add some more length over time.I would definitely recommend this light set. It's a little pricey but well worth the money spent for what you get. You get a quality light set that has many features and replaceability if something breaks. The customization for the lights is amazing and can be out for hours playing with the different settings. If you are looking for a set of permanent outdoor lights, this is the set to buy!!

These are fantastic lights! I don't have experience with the other brand with a G, but my neighbors do, and these are superior. I mounted mine 2.5 inches from the wall, vinyl siding with white aluminum soffit and gutters. These come with stickies and holes, I used the recommended process of alcohol prep twice, hold the sticky under pressure for 8 seconds, then I sank the stainless screws into the aluminum. They are tornado proof for sure. I have a ranch with Gabled windows, I had to layout my peaks and corners properly foe an even look, the wire tye loops supplied worked perfectly, but I wish there were a hundred more in the box. I also ran around my attached garage, and had to fold up an angled trim piece on the facia to get my spacing from the Gabled wall, which looks amazing now, and hides the wires better. I thought ahead and found a sconce light that has gfci outlets built into it, with lights on motion sensors. This allowed me to mount my transformers and receiver under my porch, then split both ways from the middle. Adding the tee splitter for the garage took some work, but patience with the app paid off and I have my zones set. The integration in app is cumbersome at first, but it is so customizable that it works well. Ai really helped here. I'm stoked for the new zoning updates, and I'm planning on adding a second set the same way on the back of my house and pool deck. Asahom really has made a rock solid product. The only thing I ran I to was I needed the screw holes closer to my trim and tried using the splice to reverse the direction of the run, but you can't do this. It almost uses can bus to talk down the line and leds are no bidirectional. I rectified this by popping each light mount off and flipping them and snapping back in. Looking forward to next Christmas and not setting up lights, but we use them to make custom themes for every holiday. Normal days I just choose certain lights to glow white as downlights. Not a fan of the garage sides being visible from either way coming down the street, so I shut those individual lights down, but a diffuser sticker or half round cover would be a good addition in the future. My next set will be all I need, and I'll post a video of my 4th of July red white and blue explosion effects, which are gloriously American! Can't wait for the party!

I Like the app a lot, takes some playing with to learn the many options. Not many in-depth videos on how to navigate the settings, only basic one’s. Lights are easy to set up , well made and they also detach from the base which surprised me. Not as bright as others in the neighborhood but the lighting sequences make up for it. My wife loves them as I got them for the house for Mother’s Day. You can play with the color wheel and make any color you like put them in what ever order you want for instance your sports team colors and give them a strobing sequence and dazzle the neighbors. I recommend you get them when on sale as you’ll feel like a winner when you install them witness how cool they are and got them on sale can’t beat the feeling. Was 40% off . Having said that be sure to differentiate between the 107 version from the 108 version. 108 is the pro version the latest model with square lights the are not the same as the 107 round lights. I bought one of each thinking they would be fine. They work don’t get me wrong but the lights will be different, for instance the color blue on square lights 108 is green on the round lights 107 so you’d have to do some tinkering with them to get the right color match. So beware.I like the 107 colors better than the 108 they look more like the actual color the 108 have slight tints and overtones from the primary color so get it as close and you can. Hope this helps with your decision.

We purchased and hung in December. Super easy to hang. The wires will only fit in one direction so it's nearly foolproof. It can't be put together incorrectly making it simple for even the novice. Includes jump cords to make going from one run to another, makes it easy if your roof line has multiple levels and not just one straight shot. The 3M tape holds well but we added screws in the available already attached ring, so we could hang and forget (you will need your own screw). They are spaced evenly and low profile so you don't really notice them until they are on and look great when on. If they were not spaced evenly, I would have gone insane so I am thankful for this. They are spaced close enough that the lights look full and not sparse and they are closer than most others. Note: if you have a porch and there is no wall for the light to reflect on, you can barely see them. Quite the color selection. The app is okay, it works well to turn off and on and to use preset colors and lighting patterns but is complicated if you want to program certain light pattern combos yourself and no real directions to speak of. LESS THAN 90 DAYS LATER THEY QUIT WORKING and only about 30 times using. They wouldn't turn on, was very upset. We did some troubleshooting and found out there was no power getting to the lights at all, no light on the power cord. So it was the power cord. I reached out to customer service via amazon. I tried emailing them directly and the amazon response was the only one that came. They verified the issue and my order, as well as my address and sent another out within a few days. Tracking was included and they emailed me the day before it arrived to let me know it was coming. It arrived as promised and worked perfectly. We are back up and running. So if you have issues, rest assured that customer service will respond and help you with your issue.

I have gotten tired of putting up and taking down Christmas lights every year. This product is a great solution. I read the reviews for dozens of similar products, and selected this product based on its middle-of-the-road cost and good reviews. Installation was easy. Although I wouldn't trust the adhesive mounting option for long, it allows you to get each light in place and then mount with the provided screws without struggling to hold everything. The most challenging part for me was to figure out the layout so that the lengths across the garage and house came out right without a whole lot of extra or short-fall. This kit worked out to be the perfect combination of light strings and extensions to make my installation work. Most of the houses in our neighborhood have some kind of permanent light installation now. From what I have seen, I think we have one of the better options in terms of variety of lighting and settings.The app is a little bit bewildering in all of its options, and there is a bit of a learning curve. But it does provide pre-sets for dozens of holidays and occasions, and in many cases provides multiple presets for a given holiday. I haven't yet figured out all of the ways the settings interact, and a better manual or help site would be beneficial.
