About This

• DekLight DIY grade deck lighting product, with replaceable LED bulbs unlike competitor brands. 3 year Warranty on all of our DIY Line 12 volt lighting fixtures and caps. 1 year on easily replaceable bulbs.
• Replaceable LED bulbs, allowing for the bright white 6000k, or for a warm white 3000k, with our T-10 bulbs. Never replace an entire cap again. Simply replace bulbs that may dim or burn out completely over a long time.
• Molded poly lens transmits an amazingly bright light on all four sides. 100% PVC top pyramid cap. Molded plastic base attaches easily to your 5½x5½ posts with 2 screws, included. If the LED bulb ever fails in the distant future, simple remove screws, lift cap, and replace bulb easily.
• 3 Year Warranty on all our DIY Line low-voltage caps and fixtures. 1 year on all our replaceable LED bulbs, although an average life span on these automotive type light bulbs is 7-10 years burning 8 hours a night. • Our caps are used extensively in the field by professional deck builders who want a product that will match their vinyl railings and reduce their callbacks for caps that dim or burn out prematurely. With our caps, they leave extra bulbs with the homeowner, and show them how easy it is to replace them should a bulb become defective in the distant future.
• Our included 3M style gel-filled connectors allows you to easily connect your 12 volt +/- power supply to your post cap, and daisy chain to your next post cap or light fixture without the need for additional splitters or power hubs that can become expensive. No wire stripping needed. Simply insert your wires and crimp connector closed with pliers.
• Important note: Installing 12 volt caps with replaceble bulbs on wood posts require a 1½" hole drilled into the top of the wood post, 3-4 inches deep, to allow for the bulb housing and gel-connectors. Drill a hole (slightly angled up) on one of the 4 sides of your post for your low-voltage wire. See picture detailing this in the gallery. Instructions showing this method also included with cap(s).
