I own a 360 sq. ft. cabin in the woods where on occasion we get hurricanes and the power goes out. I love this light bulb very much. I am able to screw it into virtually any fixture; any lamp. This bulb has a standard E26 base. I bought pendant lights for over my kitchen island and screwed the bulb into the pendant lights and now I don't have to have them wired in. I'm thrilled. These are pure genius. They're very bright and work really well.They have a built-in hanger that you can use to hang them in lieu of screwing them into a fixture. They're wonderful lights.

EDIT: Been using these lights for over a week now. I still stand by my review of all the amazing features and overall the light is still great BUT they've been making a high pitched ringing sound that is hard to ignore. I contacted the company and they quickly responded and sent me a new set (thank you!) but the second set are also ringing really loud which I'm sure you can imagine is frustrating while you're lying in bed at night trying to wind down and go to sleep. Not sure if I'll keep them.First impression - these are amazing. I had been on the hunt for some rechargeable bulbs for some bedside sconces that I can't hardwire and I didn't want the cord hanging down in view. I had bought two other sets that didn't meet my needs - I specifically wanted the option to turn the bulbs on and off from the bulb itself and not have to rely on the remote. Even though their product info said they could they could only cycle through colors before turning off which would be super annoying every night as you're going to sleep. These looked like they would have that feature because there is a dedicated on/off button so I gave them a shot and they do!In addition, these bulbs seem to have all the features you could possibly want. Here are some pros - Even though I bought them to be able to turn on/off on the bulb the remote is great and it's nice that you can control both bulbs together or separately. I also appreciate that the remote is large and the buttons are large in comparison to those teeny tiny remotes that come with other wireless lights (IYKYK). It's a legit remote. If you did want to use the remote, which I still might because it's great, it's very easy to use and you don't have to find the tiny button you're looking for like with the other remotes. FYI it does need two AAA batteries - no big deal I had some handy.In comparison to the other bulbs I had tried these can get much brighter and have better levels of brightness as well so you can find the exact level that works for you. They also have a more accurate scale of warm/cool as I found the other bulbs weren't truly warm toned on their warmest setting.I did download the app and even though I probably won't use it often it does have decent features and seems to work okay so far. I like that you can adjust the settings for each bulb in the app and get really precise settings like the level of warmth and the brightness. After you set that the bulb has a memory so when you turn it back on it'll go back to its last setting which was another must have feature for me. You can also adjust the settings for both bulbs together as well if you prefer that. I probably won't use the full RGB scale for different colors but that is also a great if you are into that.A few cons - I do find the bulbs to be a big big/bulky. They do stick out from underneath the shade on my sconces a bit but it doesn't look too bad and I'm going to embrace that look. However I will add another pro here - the shape/look of them is more attractive than a regular light bulb shape so they look way more stylish and intentional. But I do wish they would have been a bit smaller or had the option for more than one size for smaller lamps. Another con for me is the attachment to E26 adapter - the only great thing about the other bulbs I tried is that the attachment was magnetic so you could very easily pull the bulb on and off its base for charging. These twist and click into the adapter base which is only a tiny bit more inconvenient for removal for charging. On the charging note - they didn't come charged so you will have to charge them for several hours to get full battery before first use.I can't speak to the battery life at this point but I'm hoping that the other reviews are correct and that they last a long time so I don't have to recharge too frequently. I do hope these bulbs are as good of quality as they appear because I'm hoping they last!

Tested these against two other rechargeable lightbulbs, and ended up keeping this set of two. The drawback is that they were the dimmest of the three sets. However, I only needed them for a little bit of illumination in two lamps on a hallway table, and they’re really not any dimmer than expected. They had the longest battery life of the three. I want to say about 12 hours or so. They have several mounting options and are magnetic, if that’s something you need. I didn’t have any issues setting up the remote or connecting them to the app. I simply followed the instructions provided. The app is a little quirky, but it’s fine for my use. Sometimes you have to hit the on/off twice, and the lighting temperature doesn’t always sync if you go back and forth between using each bulb independently and using them together. I haven’t tried using the colors or the dynamic modes with the app, but I did play with them a bit with the physical bulb buttons. They seem like they could be fun.

This is a lot of fun I put it in a lamp to keep in the corner of the room and we have a lot of fun with it it's it's great to change the ambience in the room

I work at a summer camp and wanted a lightbulb in my tent, and I twisted one into a lamp that I didn’t have a plug for, and this works fantastically for an upgrade to a flash-light style lantern for camping. The colors are bright and vibrant, the light charges easily and quickly, and the charge lasts plenty long enough for me to use it as a reading light.I absolutely love this bulb - and I’ll be buying more similar ones for my next rustic outdoors trip.The remote works perfectly, and the bulb emits plenty of light for one room at night for low-light.

I really love these lightbulbs. I was hoping to use this one as a back up when my other two died and were charging. I did not think about the fact that the remote from my other ones would not work with this one, so now I just have a spare light with its own remote.-Good battery, life and easy to charge-magnetic base makes for ease of functionality-I like the option that you can screw it into a regular light socket-It has good color and brightness options-It is a decent value for the money

I like the battery backup LED lights. This one works, but does not always rechsrge when the ligght is off, but the fixture is on. I have several other brands that will recharge with the lamp off, and the fixture getting power. It is a pain to have to remove the bulb to recharge it.

This is a great rechargeable light bulbs. These bulbs are super cool. They allow you to use them anywhere there’s no power. They are really bright and last a fairly long time on a charge. They come with a remote control that not only powers them, but you can dim, change the white temperature, make them 15 different colors and set timers on them too. But what I like best about them is that the screw in base is magnetized to the bulb. With the cheaper version of these bulbs you have to unscrew the entire bulb each time you need to recharge them but with these, the base stays screwed in place and you just pull the bulb off the base, recharge it, and pop it back on the base. So much easier.

While I love the versatility of this bulb, I would say that mine has some limited uses.The overall look of these is okay, so best to be put in a type of lighting that doesn't showcase the bulb.Its wonderfully easy to use, its just magnetized so it pops right on and off of the screwed in base. This is why my main concern isn't such a big deal...I've found that mine works best for constant use. I had left it freshly charged and then didn't use it for about 2-3 weeks and it was totally dead. So for back up emergency power, I know not to trust mine.Otherwise, its easy to charge when used all the time and lasts several days.

This is great for putting a lamp without an outlet available. It works great and is pretty bright for a rechargeable lightbulb. We use this on our hallway where we have no outlet. Good find!

After buying a fancy light fixture in my display area I discovered that there actually isn't power to the junction box. So instead of paying a lot of $$ to get an electrician out to fix that, I decided to try this rechargeable light.Lots of color selections. App or remote controlled as well as buttons on the bulb. Multiple hanging options too including traditional screw base, metal hanger or magnet. They really did try to make this thing as versatile as they could.It is much fatter than a regular bulb which was a bit of an issue with my fixture but we worked it out.

My old standard lamps are failing and the light bulbs flicker. I love these little battery-powered lights. You can put them on your E26 lamps or just keep them near you as you work. They also can provide colorful ambient light to suit your mood and the remote is handy. The charge lasts long enough for an evening, sometimes more depending on the brightness. But when you need more power, you just plug it in with the USB. This bulb has extra functions on the bulb itself, unlike some other brands, plus it shows by color that it is charged up. I particularly like the dome shape of this bulb. When I go to bed, I slip the bulb into my pocket and it illuminates my path. At twenty bucks it’s a pricey one, so shop around and then decide. Also this type of bulb is new, so I still don’t know how long the battery lifespan is. Rating on it meeting my personal needs right now. Good to keep multiples charged up for power outages or just swapping bulbs when they run low.

I am a little disappointed with this. It does what it says it will. The color is so adjustable that one can make it exactly the color and brightness they desire. It was easy to “pair” with the remote. I did not use the app as I have no desire to add another app to my phone. I will not be commenting on its performance.No where in the instructions or on the listing did it mention that I would need two AAA batteries for the remote. I stood there trying to pair this thing like a fool for too long wondering why it wouldn’t work before I realized there were no batteries in the remote. The remote is also rather large and looks shockingly similar to that streaming device’s remote. I don’t like that it is so large. It makes storage an issue.This is better used on a sconce on the wall than in a lamp. My issue with it starts here. I planned to use this in a lamp. It fits the lamp socket BUT the base blocks light from falling on the table below the lamp. There’s just a bit of light coming from the top third of the lampshade. The rest of it is left dark because of the design of this bulb. It look odd. I will not continue to use it in this lamp. I’m not sure that I have space for it right now. If it is what one is looking for, it’ll do great. If you’re looking for a lamp bulb, this isn’t it.

I got this chargeable light bulb for my pantry closet. I have no plug or wiring in it and I simply hung this bulb on a command hook and then Velcro stuck the remote inside to the door frame. I love it. The light is bright enough to illuminate this 3ft.x6ft. space. All I need it for is light on and off but it has many great features other then that. All the colored lights, blinking,dimming. It charges really fast and it indicates the charge level on the bub with 3/2/1/blue light dots and a red one. So you know when it gets low and it's time to recharge when you got one blue light dot left or it's red. The charging cable is provided as well as instructions that explain all the functions and the remote buttons. This bulb can be hung, magnetically attached or with the adapter screwed into any lamp socket. Keep it charged and you got a perfect emergency light when the power goes out. This chargeable bulb comes in handy as a Party light or even in the car when you need a light magnetically attached inside on the hood to check your engine or as warning light set on red and blinking if a tire change on the road is needed!. This chargeable bulb comes in handy and has numerous applications. I can recommend it!

So far this light is great. I used it in some sconces where I couldn’t hardwire and I didn’t want wires hanging down. I actually used two different rechargeable bulbs to compare them, and I prefer the way this one connects to the base. It twists in so it stays solidly in place, vs the magnetic ones that seem a bit flimsier. My only complaint is that the remote is not the most intuitive to use compared to my other one. I read what all the buttons do in the instructions, but it’s just not intuitive. Otherwise they seem functionally the same. The color lights are the same and have the same features. So far we have not had to recharge. It came charged and still going strong after about a week of daily use.
