Work really well and look great! These get some direct sun in the morning for a couple hours tops and are in the shade most of the day. However, they are bright and seem to be full strength regardless. Additionally, today was a rainy cloudy day and they are still on and looking great. It makes letting the dog out at night easier and more pleasant. Great ambiance for my backyard as I give it a makeover.

Just what these stone steps deserved after all these years! My husband built a stone wall with two sets of steps when we bought the house. He's got a pretty big ego, so I don't compliment him on that stonework, but I always thought it should have lights. He's absolutely no good at putting in motion lights that actually come on when I'm trying to go up or down the stairs in the dark, and I'd almost given up until, while ordering lights for the rest of the yard, I happened to check to see if there were any that would work on the stone steps. I'm so glad that I did! That they are shaped as wedges was the key, because while they could possibly be affixed to the stone, I knew that might be a problem. As it turned out, I made the absolute best choice, and sent him the following pictures right after it got dark this evening. I got a text back right away thanking me. It's like a miracle just occurred! The second set of steps is in the shade, but I may give it a shot anyhow, as that's where the animals tend to lurk - and maybe he'll be so happy with the finishing touch that he'll remove the old garbage shed that's sitting next to them, bringing down the tone, as it were. If that works, I'm going to spotlight his shed and work area in the hopes that the non-working lawnmowers and other offending articles are also tidied up. I may have just found my answer to many problems with these lights - and yes, I can see where I'm going...in style!

Exceeded expectations. On their second season! After a sunny day, they stay illuminated all night!

Great safety option for patio stairs, and they look amazing. Easy to install- I simply placed them at the sides of each step, I didn't even bother using the included self stick pads or screws. I may want to rethink that before the monsoons hit, if they get washed off the steps, but for now, they stay in place with no issues and provide soft light across the steps. I had to buy additional lights, as there were not enough for all of the steps. At first I thought about doing every other step, but worried that it may present a tripping hazard at night, and they just look so good, that I really wanted to light both sides of every step. I'm glad I got the additional lights. They stay lit all night, and let off a soft glow that is not overly bright, but still enough light for safety when walking in the yard after dark.

Have been impressed by them so far. I thing I left them out a little to late in the year and the temperature dropped well below freezing. A few stopped working and I bought more to replace them they light up our outdoor steps brightly. A great safety idea and they look great.

These worked so well. They light up even with the amount of shade that covers the area where they are located. I didn't even install them. Just set them on the steps where they were needed and they still work well.

Oh! these lights are amazing. I had to return the first set because they were not all working, but the exchange was fast and I didn't have any problem. The new set worked well and still working. my front door steps look amazing and well light for those coming at night. They are motion lights and they don't stay on but as long as someone is close to them they light up

These work better than I expected and usually stay lit all night. One, out of the 16 I ordered doesn't shut off when it gets light, but still stays lit most of the night. I stuck them to the steps with velcro tape. They stay in place well that way.

I absolutely am thrilled with these! They are perfect to sit on my steps of the front porch, and without realizing it, illuminate the shrubs so splendidly on either side. They last a long while, into the wee hours of the morning and even longer with many consecutive sunny days. They were already lighting up when I purchased them, and works the moment you place them outside! No need to use the sticky adhesive or the screws in my situation. They simply sit where I put them with an occasional adjustment needed due to a curious bird or squirrel. Size is wonderful, sufficient for the job. Easy to install, simply take out of the package and flip the on switch. I then just placed them where I wanted them. Water resistant. Stunning and effective. More than I had even hoped for!
