The extra large “T” shaped light from Gritin delivers a LOT to like. This light offers super nice quality with a soft touch neck, sturdy clamp and rubber gripping pads. The use is intuitive and it makes no compromises. The stepless dimming is not for me, but it does work very well and will appeal to many readers. That said, it offers stepped outputs as well. The 3 individual buttons are nice, no consolidating features to one button. For me the only drawback is the color temps. I found the amber to be very unappealing and the cool temp very harsh. The mid temp does work well. This is a good pick especially for those who want more output than the compact models offer. It is likely my second favorite light here. I just wish the color temps were programmed a bit different. I got tricked with the idiotic Glucosent compact reading lights that only illuminate 20% of a single page and I have to constantly adjust the orientation, and then I stopped reading reviews and did some real research and stumbled upon the Gritin. Just get this. It's lighter than it looks, the clamp ensures that it can stay on bigger books, and it illuminates PERFECTLY any book I tried so far. No complaints.

This is a great buy. I expected a little night light. I didn’t realize how nice all the options are. You can adjust the type of lighting (cool vs. warm) and the intensity. I love it — I can read at night without disturbing my husband’s sleep. I highly recommend this

I like the fact that this book light has 3 color temperatures, allowing me to minimize blue light at nighttime. I can also control brightness for readability in various conditions. The wide light covers the entire page of most books and works well with printed books as well as my Kindle.

BEST book light I've ever owned. It's wonderful to have 3 color choices and that they include eye caring light temperature hues that are very soothing. I like that the book light is rechargeable...no batteries! The light bar provides a wide light coverage area that is really helpful when you're reading a bigger sized book. I've been using it every night for a couple of weeks and haven't had any issues. I'm soooo happy with this booklight. I'm soooo glad I bought it.

Such a great little lamp for reading. Love it and how it lights up your book at the angle you want without disturbing the person next to you. It has different light intensity settings and light colors - bluish, warm and white.

I have used this thing so many times it’s insane. It actually gets pretty bright on the highest setting and I love the option of amber light. It’s helpful when I come to bed late and need to navigate my hoarded nightstand without waking up my husband with the iPhone flood light.

The thing I love most about this book light is it covers both pages of the book and I don’t have to adjust after reading the left and right side of a book. The three options of light to choose from is very helpful too. Highly recommended, best book lamp ever!

This is a light-weight, nice little book light. It stays charged a long time (over a couple weeks, I have yet to even plug it up). The varying types of light and brightness are great. I ordered 2—I love mine, and my Granddaughter says hers is good too and better than her previous one. I clip mine onto a hunk of the book and just leave it there at all times awaiting my reading pleasure.

Liked it so much I bought another as a gift! The charge last a really long time! The light options are perfect. The clip doesn't damage the book. I don't have even one thing negative to say. It is lightweight and can even be used as a bookmark in a pinch. Best book light I've had over the years. I really like all the light settings and the ability to maneuver it if needed but the light covers the entire page. It folds completely flat for easy travel. Truly don't have anything negative and would buy for any book reader.

This is a good book light. Quality is good. It has several different light settings and one where I can actually see what I'm reading. I need a lot of bright light to see and this one gives me that. I'm able to adjust the light without moving the clip itself to see both sides of the pages of a very large book. it also has a couple dim settings if you like that and it goes from bright white light to a dim yellowish soft light. I believe it would suit just about anyone, but I sure like it , I can finally see to read.

Bright enough and not too bright. Wide enough for a large textbook. Clip is strong without it being too strong where it will tear you pages or scratch plastic. The clip also functions as a stand so it’s like you tiny pocked desk lamp. I sometimes clip it to my IPad and it lights up my working space. Awesome for travel and will protect your eyes from reading in the dark. Adjusts very easily while at the same time staying in place. Looks great in white, the white is matte. So easy to use and versatile. Love it!

I love this light! The multiple light colors and intensities make finding the right one easy. I'll even turn it on just to get some soft light in the room when getting ready for bed. The battery life is phenomenal! One neat (undocumented) feature is being able to see the battery status as a reflection on the book clip. I like the flexible neck, too. It's easy to adjust and isn't floppy at all. You really can't go wrong with this product.

With so much to choose from, I'm so glad I went with this rechargeable book light. It's the perfect book friendly size that has several different lighting options to choose from which makes for easy reading. This is pretty straightforward: it’s an LED light bar on a bendable neck, with a clip that attaches to whatever you want. Everything works perfectly. The light offers a warm, a cold and a mid setting, and several brightness levels. It seems to hold a charge pretty well so far. Definitely a solid value at this price.

I bought this to use as a book light on an overseas flight. It worked great for that. BUT it also comes in handy as a makeup mirror light and as a tiny table lamp when i need just a little extra light. I am in my 70's and my eyesight isn't quite as clear as it use to be. I accidentally found out that this light can double as extra light when I'm tweezing or putting on makeup. I also used it as a little table lamp in our rented condo when I needed a bit of light to read but didn't want to disturb others at night. I'm ordering two more for my home....one for my vanity table in my bathroom and one in my bedroom as a little table light (the clip-on mechanism is wide enough and flat enough to act as a stable stand.)

This is a great book light!! Light weight clips onto any book has a long neck/stem that you can bend and turn it easily to adjust where you want the light, it's exactly as description says about the brightness and colors are easy on the eyes. Does what it says. For the size and being light weight it's sturdy and well made, and for the price you can't go wrong.I feel that a lot of people's expectations are way too high and expect somethings made with the highest quality material and when they get it their disappointed and give negative reviews. For what this book light is it's a cool it's great does what it's suppose to do put out plenty of light so you can read in the dark or just read better all together!!

Years ago, I had one of the spindly, "Itty Bitty Book Light," and I don't know why, in all the ensuing years, I didn't think to see if there was currently something similar, but not so flimsy, available. What made me finally check Amazon was that in walking onto the deck outside my bedroom one recent night, I could see that my bedside reading lamp was bleeding light from the window -- even through closed, supposedly light-blocking blinds -- and into the bedroom window of the building next door. I do my best to avoid inconveniencing others, but I'd been unaware that for all the years I've been living in my current flat, my late-night reading must have had my neighbors cursing me. So I immediately checked Amazon for a book light, and it took me just minutes to decide on this one. I'm so happy I found this light, and my pet and my neighbors are probably happy as well, as I'm no longer ruining their sleep.This little light is much more substantial than it appears in the product photo, and seems to be built to last. The clamp is strong and large enough to stay put, but not too heavy for paperbacks (you'll need to clamp at least a quarter-inch section of pages). Changing the light intensity and color is easy and straightforward, and the sturdy but supple neck and light bar are easy to adjust. I've had this little light just under a week, and in that time have read two paperbacks and a hardcover, and the clamp worked well on each of the differing cover weights. The initial charge is still going strong, and only last night did the power-indicator lights go from four to three, so I'm guessing there's at least nine more books (well, maybe not "War and Peace" or one of those massive Elizabeth George novels) worth of power remaining after just that first charge.If you're a late-night reader, you, your eyes, and anyone you share a bedroom with -- from pets to people -- will appreciate this well-designed and sturdy book light that holds a long-lasting charge.
